  • Who pays for All Ears?
    All Ears is currently funded by Foundation Socialrun. The Socialrun Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to making mental health issues negotiable and reducing the stigma that often accompanies them. Want to know more about Socialrun? Check out their website: www.socialrun.nl
  • Can I call or chat anonymously with All Ears?
    Yes, contacting All Ears can be done anonymously. You can share as much, or as little information about yourself as you want.
  • Do I have to pay in order to call All Ears?
    No, calling All Ears is for free. All students on the other side of the line works on a voluntary basis. You only pay for the costs your phone provider charges you.
  • Who will answer the phone?
    On the other side of the line psychology students from the University of Amsterdam are ready to pick up the phone, and to offer you their listening ear.
  • The number doesn't work, what do I do?
    We are sorry you currently can’t make use of All Ears. We are available every workday from 10:00 - 20:00 and from 12:00 - 16:00 in the weekend Are you calling during these times and there is still no answer? Please send an email to allearsamsterdam@gmail.com so we can work out the issue.
  • About what kind of topics can I call to All Ears?
    You can contact All Ears whenever you want someone to listen to you. Maybe you need to complain about a struggle with a roommate, you have a fun story to tell, you had a weird dream or you have trouble planning your week. The volunteer on the phone can offer you their time and empathy. They are literally All Ears! However, it is important to note that All Ears is not a replacement for proffesional psychological help
  • Great project! How can I get involved?
    Nice that you are interested in getting involved in All Ears! The psychology students who work for All Ears are all volunteers. Currently, we're all set on volunteers. Usually positions open at the start of a new semester. Keep an eye on our Instragram and website around that time. Do you think you can help out in another way?
